Lee Child

Lee Child (pen name of James Dover Grant) is a British thriller writer best known for his Jack Reacher novel series, which follows the adventures of a former US Military Police Major wandering the United States.

Biography & Profile

Lee Child was born in Coventry, England. After studying law at the University of Sheffield and working in commercial television for over 18 years, he wrote his first novel, Killing Floor, in 1997 after being made redundant. The novel was a massive success, launching the legendary Jack Reacher franchise. In 2019, he announced that his brother, Andrew Child, would co-author future Jack Reacher books to ensure the continuation of the series.
